The Scotch Whisky Nosing Aroma Kit is a Scent & Aroma Technology Systems Ltd product.

Scent & Aroma Technology Systems Limited (SATS) is jointly owned by George Dodd and Alan Gordon. The objective of the company is to provide customers with niche specialist Aroma and Perfume System products that educate, entertain and/or improve their feeling of well being. It is the owner’s intention to establish SATS as the premier Scent & Aroma training company.

George is one of the world’s greatest experts on the sense of smell and aromas and he is the only working perfumer in Scotland. He is based at “The Perfume Studio” located in a beautiful part of the Highlands of Scotland sandwiched between the distilleries of the islands with their distinctive peaty aromas and the many distilleries of Speyside with their myriad and wonderful aromas. He not only develops his own perfumes and conducts a series of Aroma Master Classes but also acts as a consultant for some of the leading names in the Aroma world. George has used the systematic training in the sense of smell found in perfumery and partnered with Alan Gordon to apply it to the world of Scotch Whisky – hence the development of The Scotch Whisky Aroma Nosing Kit.

Updated daily, it has become an essential reference for Scotch Whisky enthusiasts worldwide as well as for those who work within the Scotch Whisky industry. In conjunction with its strategy to be the leading online source of Scotch Whisky information the company also aims to promote niche products directly related to Scotch Whisky. The Scotch Whisky Aroma Nosing Kit is a key element of this strategy and Alan was delighted to have partnered with George Dodd to develop the kit.
